Latest action out of Elessir, my non-Legacy of the Dragonborn modded playthrough! Main action in this post: running Goldenglow Estate and then Honningbrew Meadery for the Thieves Guild plotline; running the Interception plot to help out the Remnants agents; confronting Kinthal’s Saints bandits near Karthwasten; helping the Orc stronghold Largashbur with a giant problem; running Avanchnzel and returning the Lexicon there; buying Honeyside and becoming thane in the Rift; and returning Azura’s Star to Aranea, and heeding Azura’s directive to cleanse Malyn Varen’s soul out of it.

Main action in this post: running Honningbrew Meadery for the Thieves Guild; taking the Lexicon back to Avanchnzel; building out Goldenhills Plantation; acquiring the Headman’s Cleaver from Lost Knife Hideout; running the Interception plot, and getting the Remnants gear; and doing the second half of the fight with Potema in Solitude.

I’ve decided to go ahead and make a hard push through the rest of Kendis’ playthrough–to finish up Solstheim, and then to run her final confrontation with Alduin. I want to get her finished up so that I can free up my Skyrim cycles for Elessir and Finds-The-Way!
Also, I want to finish my confirmation of how much of Solstheim is still functional on the AE build on the Switch. So here’s a big ol’ round of that in this post.

This post is the first two sessions I’ve done with Kendis on Solstheim in Skyrim–during which I discovered, to my dismay, that two quests on Solstheim are actively broken if you’re running the Anniversary Edition on the Switch.
So in these two sessions, I tried to see what I could do about this, and also tried to see how many of the things I usually run on Solstheim are still functional. Deets behind the fold.

Swinging back around to my Skyrim run in German, here’s a couple more sessions with Finds-The-Way! Main action here: getting Dawnbreaker; finishing up the Daedra’s Best Friend plot; taking out zombies at the necromancer ritual site; taking out the dragon at Ancient’s Ascent; and last but not least, running Ustengrav. Where Finds did not get the Horn of Jurgen Windcaller.

Getting caught up on Kendis! This is a three-session post, predominantly featuring getting the Elder Scroll out of Blackreach (and getting a bunch of crimson nirnroot while down there), and then heading off to Ancestor Glade and Darkfall Cave for Dawnguard action.

Main action in these sessions: getting started with Dawnguard, and in fact making serious inroads on the plot, getting all the way through running the Soul Cairn and getting Valerica’s Elder Scroll. And in between all of this, I kept bouncing back to Whiterun trying to spawn the Traveler. Which did in fact finally help me solve the problem with Carlotta and Mila being stuck!
Meanwhile, I also picked up the thaneship in Winterhold! For free, pretty much, since I’d already helped enough people and had put the new Jarl into power by way of winning the war.
And last but not least, I got onto the trail of finding the Dragon scroll, needed not only for Dawnguard, but for the main plot as well.

Three session post this time, with main action being running the rest of Irkngthand, returning the Skeleton Key to the Twilight Sepulcher, getting the Nerveshatter hammer, finishing the Arms of Chaos plot, and last but not least, being cured of vampirism!

Three-session post here, because I got a little behind getting posts written this past week. Lots of action in this one, as I got the civil war plot officially underway in Kendis’ run. Some ruminations here too about what motivates a Redguard to fight on the side of the Empire.

Basically, these two sessions were all about finishing up the overall Remnants plotline, and the Saints and Seducers plotline as well. I contacted Remnants agents and eventually helped rescue their captured comrade from the Thalmor. I got awarded a set of their armor. And I took out the remaining bandit camps, quested into the sewers in Solitude and defeated Thoron, and did the epilogue where I handed off the Sword of Jyggalag to Staada.

In the name of having Kendis not completely duplicating what I’m doing in Harrow’s playthrough, I decided to take a page from Delga’s earlier book and have Kendis sign up to fight for the Empire. I also had her go ping the Bards College to sign up with them. One of these things did not go very well for her.

Main action here: achieving the thaneship in Falkreath; reaching Haemar’s Shame and getting the directive to fetch the Rueful Axe; taking out the bandits at Treva’s Watch; buying the land for Lakeview Manor, and beginning its building; fetching the Rueful Axe from Rimerock Burrow, and then delivering it to Clavicus Vile to get him to take Barbas back; acquiring the sword Dawnfang and Duskfang from the depths of the Ratway; getting Grelod the Kind arrested for abusing her charges; and last but not least, acquiring a Khajiit companion with extremely odd ideas about why he needed to voluntarily commit himself to the Riften jail.
