More mid-December Skyrim catchup, this time with Finds-The-Way. Main action here is her moving stuff along with the Thieves Guild, fishing-related quests, and most importantly, finally joining the Dark Brotherhood!

All of the action in this post is stuff I’ve played through before, so not much in the way of new Skyrim commentary here; this post is mostly language commentary on the German run I’m doing with Finds-The-Way. Overall action here though is getting Mehrunes’ Razor and Azura’s Star.

Swinging back around to my Skyrim playthrough in German, starring the Argonian Finds-The-Way. Main action here: running the nightmares plot in Dawnstar; running Yngol Barrow near Windhelm; catching the murderer in Windhelm for the Blood on the Ice quest; and continuing Thieves Guild action, from running Snow Veil Sanctum, to robbing the Dwemer museum, to getting Enthir to translate the journal and receiving the Nightingale Blade from Karliah.

And now, some catchup with my Argonian in Skyrim, Finds-The-Way! Main action in these two sessions: joining the College of Winterhold and playing through to the point of needing to go to Mzulft; and also, hitting the East Empire Company Warehouse in Solitude to move the Thieves Guild plotline along.
Also, I got a surprise dragon literally during a conversation, and I rearranged Finds’ appearance with the Face Sculptor in Riften!

A long-overdue Skyrim Together post, literally a month after we had this session! Did I mention I’m way, way behind on getting my playthrough posts up?
Main action in this is Thieves Guild stuff, and specifically the part where Mercer Frey’s true colors are revealed, and the Dragonborn then has to break into a museum. Fun times!
Heaping side helping, though, of my having to replay everything we did in this session solo because my game broke. Oof.

Three session post this time, with main action being running the rest of Irkngthand, returning the Skeleton Key to the Twilight Sepulcher, getting the Nerveshatter hammer, finishing the Arms of Chaos plot, and last but not least, being cured of vampirism!

Time to swing back around and get caught up on Kendis! Main action in this post: running the Forsworn Conspiracy plot; reaching Alduin’s Wall at Sky Haven Temple, and getting Dragonbane; running the Crypt of the Heart plot and getting the Spell Knight armor; getting Azura’s Star; and defeating the dragon priest Hevnoraak at Valthume.

Greatest hits action in this trio of sessions for Harrowhark–because it was Happy Fun Let’s Go Fuck Things Up at the Thalmor Embassy Time! Followed by the part of the Thieves Guild plotline where you get to join the Nightingales, which is where the really good parts kick in. <3

These two sessions for Kendis were basically all about trying to beat down her side quests on the quest journal. Highlights: re-running Bleak Falls Barrow, having a brawl with Elrindir, killing a dragon at Autumnwatch Tower, killing another dragon at Bonestrewn Crest, fetching Wylandriah’s remaining items and returning them to her, and last but not least, acquiring some Daedric mail!

Double session post, with the main action being acquiring the Staff of Magnus, using it to save the College of Winterhold, and returning the lost instruments to the Bards College.
And oh yeah: these are the sessions that saw me decide to bail on Survival Mode.

So this was a nice big eventful session, which involved recovering the Staff of Magnus from Labyrinthian, becoming Arch-Mage of the College of Winterhold, and getting kidnapped by Astrid to kick off the Dark Brotherhood plotline!

More mage college action here, running Mzulft, and then returning to the college and witnessing the death of the Arch-Mage!

This is Kendis’ run through Fellglow Keep! Also features getting the dragonscale armor at Yorgrim Overlook, and a whole helluva lot of freezing weather, because this is what happens when you ride from the College of Winterhold down to Windhelm in Survival Mode.

Double session post, mostly featuring exploring a bunch of changes to the mage college thanks to the Immersive College of Winterhold mod. <3 But I also got in working on the side quests for the mage apprentices, retrieving the staff for Enthir (this time from Pinemoon Cave), and then raiding Faldar’s Tooth for the clue about finding the sword Bloodthirst. And I got the Augur of Dunlain to point me at the Staff of Magnus, and Mirabelle to point me at Mzulft for finding clues on its whereabouts!

Meanwhile, back on the werewolf playthrough, I made it to Ysgramor’s Tomb to purify the spirit of Kodlak of his lycanthropy, and as long as I was right nearby, I also joined the College of Winterhold!

Most of this session was actually taking a Dragonborn break, and doing a circuit through Skyrim’s major cities and selling off a bunch of accumulated loot. But I also moved the Ghosts of the Tribunal plotline further along, and took out a renegade priest of Dagoth Ur who threatened the temple. Also, I finished up Kolbjorn Barrow!

This session was mostly all about tying up loose ends and whittling down the inventory before I throw myself headlong into looking for Auriel’s Bow in Forgotten Vale. Notably, I got the Oghma Infinium–and also a daughter, as I adopted Sofie of Windhelm!

Y’know how I said at the tail end of Shenner’s last post that I was probably going to do something either in the Reach in general or Markarth in particular? Looks like the winds of whim dictated otherwise, because what I wound up doing instead was running the Blessings of Nature and Black Star plots, both of which are familiar territory, but which I had yet to do with this alt. Also did some fishing–and adopted Lucia from Whiterun as my first adopted child!

This session saw the running of Labyrinthian to get the Staff of Magnus, and the immediate followup of the finale at the college, where yet again I have become Arch-Mage!
I also retrieved the Headman’s Cleaver from the bandits at Lost Knife Hideout, and got in the usual assortment of dragon fighting and crafting. Featuring unlocking Madness smithing finally, which let me start making weapons with the stuff!

A very magic-heavy session, as I moved the mage college plot further along–and also continued to put mage follower Rulnik Wind-Strider through his paces! Ran the Mzulft ruin, and got the information on where the Staff of Magnus is. And oh shit, the Arch-Mage is dead!
