Session number 6 in my ongoing active playthrough of Tuxborn, the Skyrim modpack. Main action here: moving the plot along in the Wheel of Time mod included with Tuxborn, but unfortunately not enjoying that very much; running the In My Time of Need plot, this time in favor of Saadia; killing a bandit leader at Silent Moons Camp, this time on behalf of Belethor; and acquiring relics for Auryen at the Dragonborn Gallery.

Short post since this is mostly familiar action, and hardly any German language commentary, even. Main action here is Finds-The-Way running favor quests to achieve the thaneship of the Reach, but with a side helping of aetherium shard acquisition, and also thievery!

This one is way overdue, over two months at this point, but I’m posting it anyway to get it out of my queue! This is the last session Dara, Mel, and I ran in Skyrim Together Reborn, on December 3rd.
This is all main Skyrim quest action, primarily featuring raiding the Thalmor Embassy, and then proceeding to rescue Esbern from the Ratway. With a side helping of general Skyrim Together shenanigans, as we do.

Double session post for Finds-The-Way! Main action here: meeting Paarthurnax; running Volunruud; committing some light thievery in both Whiterun and Solitude; taking out J’datharr the Thalmor assassin; taking out Evethra the mad mage; acquiring the greatsword Shadowrend; showing up for a fishing contest and taking out the bandits who tried to ambush her; acquiring the hammer Nerveshatter; slaying Grelod the Kind at the Riften orphanage; and slaying Crowstooth and Alvasorr the Rat at Arcwind Point.

Long overdue post, this was the last session we did in Skyrim Together, way back at the end of August! Action covered in this run: advancing the Thieves Guild plot; reporting to the Greybeards finally on High Hrothgar; going after the Horn of Jurgen Windcaller; meeting up with Delphine and killing Sahloknir at Kynesgrove; and returning the Horn to the Greybeards.

Swinging back around to my Skyrim run in German, here’s a couple more sessions with Finds-The-Way! Main action here: getting Dawnbreaker; finishing up the Daedra’s Best Friend plot; taking out zombies at the necromancer ritual site; taking out the dragon at Ancient’s Ascent; and last but not least, running Ustengrav. Where Finds did not get the Horn of Jurgen Windcaller.

Still working on clearing side quests in Kendis’ journal in Skyrim, before I send her off to Solstheim to go toe to toe with Miraak! Mostly, this meant becoming thane in the Reach, getting Vlindrel Hall, and doing a bunch more fishing to get the overall Fishing quest lines finished up, including defeating a giant spirit crab in Dawnstar.

Kind of a mishmash of action here, with Harrow finally getting her first encounter with Alduin on the Throat of the World–but also settling the nightmare problem in Dawnstar, and getting the thaneship there. Plus fishing. So much fishing!

This session of Skyrim Together Reborn saw Dara, Mel, and me getting our asses kicked (but finally prevailing!) at Shearpoint… and then trying extremely hard to get the Break of Dawn quest started. With epically complicated results.

Greatest hits action in this trio of sessions for Harrowhark–because it was Happy Fun Let’s Go Fuck Things Up at the Thalmor Embassy Time! Followed by the part of the Thieves Guild plotline where you get to join the Nightingales, which is where the really good parts kick in. <3

Double session post, with the main action being acquiring the Staff of Magnus, using it to save the College of Winterhold, and returning the lost instruments to the Bards College.

Main action here: achieving the thaneship in Falkreath; reaching Haemar’s Shame and getting the directive to fetch the Rueful Axe; taking out the bandits at Treva’s Watch; buying the land for Lakeview Manor, and beginning its building; fetching the Rueful Axe from Rimerock Burrow, and then delivering it to Clavicus Vile to get him to take Barbas back; acquiring the sword Dawnfang and Duskfang from the depths of the Ratway; getting Grelod the Kind arrested for abusing her charges; and last but not least, acquiring a Khajiit companion with extremely odd ideas about why he needed to voluntarily commit himself to the Riften jail.

This was a long, busy session in which quite a bit happened: going to Falkreath and getting in good with the Jarl by killing a bandit chieftain for him; clearing out zombies at a ritual site; getting Nettlebane, and then later, acquiring a sapling to replace the ailing Gildergreen; finishing out the furnishing of Breezehome; getting Vilja some help with her mysterious bottle; and last but not least, picking up a new follower, Lucien!
This is a big post with a lot of commentary and a lot of screenshots. Because not only did I find Lucien and try him out as a follower, I also actively decided against keeping Vilja, because she annoys the fuck out of me.

This was a very eventful session, in which I managed to get both Goldenhills Plantation and Hendraheim for Kendis, and also finally make it up to High Hrothgar to see the Greybeards. At which point I discovered exactly how big of a problem Survival Mode makes out of getting up and down High Hrothgar.

Kendis’ second session was standard “starting off a Skyrim game” action–i.e., going to Bleak Falls Barrow. But given that this is a run with Survival Mode on, this played out rather differently than it’s done in my prior playthroughs!

New playthrough, who dis? This post officially kicks off my Survival Mode playthrough, starring Kendis the Redguard! In this session, I did the Helgen run, and just enough of Riverwood and Whiterun to get her to the point of getting the quest for Bleak Falls Barrow.

I know all my posting love has been going to Elder Scrolls Online and my primary Skyrim playthroughs, but we are still periodically doing Skyrim Together when time permits! Last night, Dara, Mel, and I had our next STR session. So let’s return to the hapless adventures of our trio of Dragonborns in the Skyrim AU where the laws of physics are often on vacation, where weather can change at a moment’s notice, and where the newly slain can come back to life without a single necromancer involved.
