Getting caught up on Kendis! This is a three-session post, predominantly featuring getting the Elder Scroll out of Blackreach (and getting a bunch of crimson nirnroot while down there), and then heading off to Ancestor Glade and Darkfall Cave for Dawnguard action.

Main action in these sessions: getting started with Dawnguard, and in fact making serious inroads on the plot, getting all the way through running the Soul Cairn and getting Valerica’s Elder Scroll. And in between all of this, I kept bouncing back to Whiterun trying to spawn the Traveler. Which did in fact finally help me solve the problem with Carlotta and Mila being stuck!
Meanwhile, I also picked up the thaneship in Winterhold! For free, pretty much, since I’d already helped enough people and had put the new Jarl into power by way of winning the war.
And last but not least, I got onto the trail of finding the Dragon scroll, needed not only for Dawnguard, but for the main plot as well.

If you’re looking at this post going “hey, didn’t Harrowhark also just get the thaneship of Falkreath, and Lakeview Manor, and the Masque of Clavicus Vile?”, you are correct. This is kind of what happens when you’re doing two parallel playthroughs, it’s very easy for them to fall into similar patterns!
Aside from those two things, though, I also raided Faldar’s Tooth and actually saw more of that particular bandit hideout than I ever had done before, so that was cool!

Couple of sessions combined into one post, with the overall theme of “Shenner and Serana head to the Forgotten Vale in search of Auriel’s Bow”.

With this session, I began my favorite part of Dawnguard! Yes folks, it’s back to the Forgotten Vale!
This was a work night session, so I didn’t actually get in through the Vale very far. And this will be a somewhat short post. But I’m going ahead and posting it just to clear the queue!

Three main themes to this session: dragon killing, bear killing (a perfectly ridiculous number of bears!), and moving the Dawnguard plot along! Recruited Sorine and Gunmar, and had the reunion with Serana that leads to the quest to find a Moth Priest!
