Of interest to TM folks on my Friends list

Of which there are quite a few, actually... this is partially for the former Willowholters and partially for those of you who interacted with the Vraeyans during that plot in 2002. So this'd pretty much be agrimony, alinsa, animenathan, blargh, chrysoula, damara, flashfire, janne, kairee, lostkun, lyonesse, mizkit, quietharm, risu, shadowhwk, solarbird, ssha, syn, vaercyn, and xpioti... gosh, I have quite a few former Willowholters on my Friends list. :)

Anyway, for those of you who don't know already, I was running a plot on Two Moons in 2002 involving humans from the continent to the south of the one that the MUSH is set on. A small number of them got shipwrecked on the MUSH's continent, there was some RP, and eventually Wayfound discovered that an ancient elf by the name of Djhala had actually wandered down to the southern continent and remembered a human tribe advancing, down there. Wayfound has, off camera, tried to follow the route Djhala took in his distant past, to lead the Vraeyans back to their homeland.

solarbird and I have decided that Rillwhisper, Woodhawk, and Trollkiller, who we have retired from play on TM, actually decided to follow Wayfound down and catch up with her. Rillwhisper's intention would be to say to her daughter, "Where DO you think you're going?" And then they'll get down to Vrae, realize, "Gosh, the humans down here don't want to actually kill us with sticks! And you know what else? NO GLIDERS AND NO UNDERWORLDERS." So Rill'll go, "OKAY! Time to found a new Holt."

Just in case any of y'all are curious about the fate of the Vraeyans, and/or the fate of the three remaining founding Willowholters, and/or Wayfound. This all got rolling around in my brain because TM has a new Staffer in charge of humans, and she and I were yakking about the Vraeyans and I was giving her permission to use them in continuity with current human RP on the game if she wanted. If I ever get any time in between writing actual novels, I may play with all of this in EQ/TM fanfic or something. It's not actually likely to come up on the MUSH, but this will be the official fate for Rillwhisper and her lifemates and her daughter. It'll also make for the first official elfin contact the Vraeyan culture has off-camera, as well.

*chortle* The thought of making a Willowholt LJ community HAS crossed my mind. ;)

Though willowholt-l is also still up; it ain't like anybody's using it, though!

Like I told Kit, it's vaguely tempting. ;) Of course, the Willowholt as an entity doesn't actually exist anymore, and its members are scattered around the continent now... or really, across two continents, since Wayfound, Rill, Woodhawk, and TK went south.

But if enough of the former Willowholters on LJ want it, what the hell, I'll make a community. Even if it's for random yakking and nostalgia, what the hell. ^_^

Well, but you know, there's always meta-RP. Or a Willowholt reunion or whatnot. Some of them ended up together in other places. Speaking specifically, last I knew, Tinyhowl, Jylien and, um, Windkid (because I can't remember his name, sorry) were wandering around together somewhere.

Calmwind, Tinyhowl and Jylien's kid? Well, my last known location for Calmwind (HEY chrysoula, I'm looking in your direction ;) ) was Lostholt. The last RP on camera for him was just when he and Wayfound were doing the lovemate thing for the first time, but shortly after that he got himself idledested. So I took the liberty of presuming that he left Lostholt for some reason--which is what spurred Wayfound to leave Lostholt in turn for about ten turns of the seasons, looking for him.

Tinyhowl and Jylien I last knew to be in Blue Mountain following the flood that destroyed the Willowholt in 1999; if they left Blue Mountain, I don't think that was ever established on camera. Or at least it wasn't established in front of me. :)

(I must also add that in the World According to Me, Wayfound and Calmwind--who also took on the name Stormheart while in Blue Mountain--should be eventually reunited, because Wayfound really did like Calmwind a lot, as he was the only member of the tribe who ever understood her. ;) Both at Willowholt AND at Lostholt.)

Me, too! I've been having vague ideas about actually retiring Dawn after (counts on fingers) must be about 12 years of service by now. Don't know where Zalen ended up, but I could see her tagging off after either of her former Recognizeds. Except for the letting go of the last of the former Willowholt bit which I've been too nostalgic for. Sooo...

A dreamscape sort of Willowholt online presence would be fun ** big blue eyes **

Well, Dawn's last known IC location was Lostholt, so she'd be in a position to actually know where Rill and her lifemates went. So if you think Dawn would have gone with them, you're welcome to make that pronouncement. :)
