annathepiperMost of the day was, unsurprisingly, spent on writing. One of the exceptions to this was ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
solarbird and I taking a little jaunt to the Ave so that I could do my weekly paycheck deposit; in addition to that, as per mizkit's recommendation I picked up a copy of the 2004 Writer's Market--specifically, the one for Novel and Short Story markets, since they seem to have different editions out now. Plus, I picked up a new Swiss Army knife to replace the one I'd had taken off my hands courtesy of forgetting to pack the stupid thing in my checked luggage when Dara and I went to Worldcon.
Another exception involved me killing some time playing Nethack, though as of late I've found myself going back to 3.2.3, which was the last version they had with the old Elf class in it. Just because I never did win with that character class, and I want to check out the Palantir of Westernesse. And there was laundry. And there was checking outmamishka's lovely molding addition to her trompe l'oil panel. And there was some watching of Josie and the Pussycats, courtesy of risu.
But, mostly there was writing. Closer and closer. I think I may well have this puppy finished by the end of the week!
