Well, as of last night I am 34. solarbird made me a cake and gave me a nifty DVD of a live a-ha perfomance as well as a year's subscription to Writer's Digest, and mamishka gave me the nifty new DVD version of Eddie Izzard's Dress to Kill, and spazzkat gave me an adorable talking Stitch doll. *beam*

You're welcome. I tried telling me sainted mum that once -- "85 years in the same great location" -- but she didn't get it. "Oh, that's boring," she said. Who was pulling whom's leg, that's the real question.
