I think I have the plague

Or at least the flu. I have a bit of a headache, a bit of a sore throat, a touch of a cough, and my internal temperature is wonky. solarbird thinks I caught something at NASFiC, as I had earlier opined.

She also came and got me from work, bringing my favorite fleece & flannel blanket with her so I could curl up under it in the car. I have a good spouse.

This afternoon, I think I shall curl up with this blanket, watch Invader Zim and look for further icon-worthy moments ("Not now, son! I'm making... TOAST!" and "Doom! Doom! Doom! Go home now!" both come to mind), take Nyquil at prescribed times, and try to fight off whatever's trying to waylay my system. Zzzzzzzzzzz.
