Ten unusual things I've done

1. Finished three novels (two as a teenager, one as an adult), and submitted two of them to a publisher (one as a teenager, one as an adult, the latter submitted three times so far).
   
2. Played and sang at a wedding in front of actual people. Twice.
   
3. Broken my arm.
   
4. Had a thyroidectomy, and NOT required thyroid meds after.
   
5. Exchanged words with two members of Great Big Sea.
   
6. Laid actual eyes on the actual Russell Crowe, and damn near swooned on the spot. kathrynt, flashfire, ssha, mamishka, jessicac, and shaylith can attest. ;)
   
7. Visited Scotland.
   
8. Attended five different high schools.
   
9. Played fairly coherent music in a group of nine people.
   
10. Attempted to read The Hobbit in German. (On which I have made no progress for a while, but I still intend to get back to that!)
    

New icon for Anna!

So I was playing with Yahoo's avatars thingie that they have available for people with Yahoo accounts. And I think I have me an avatar that looks vaguely like me. The only reason she's not wearing a hat--and I actually found one in their selection that vaguely resembles the hats I like to wear--is that it wouldn't let me do the ponytail hairstyle along with it. Hmph.

What do y'all think? Does this look like cartoon Anna, or what? :)
