New icon for Anna!

So I was playing with Yahoo's avatars thingie that they have available for people with Yahoo accounts. And I think I have me an avatar that looks vaguely like me. The only reason she's not wearing a hat--and I actually found one in their selection that vaguely resembles the hats I like to wear--is that it wouldn't let me do the ponytail hairstyle along with it. Hmph.

What do y'all think? Does this look like cartoon Anna, or what? :)

I've had a paid Yahoo account since last April & I've never seen the "avatar thingie". Where can I find it?

As for the hat/pony problem, you could always make one of each, then piece 'em together in a graphics program.

The big eyes are a nice touch, too bad the ears are small (and round). Kinda reminds me of those Bratz dolls.

The Avatars site lives here. It doesn't like Firefox--I tried. So I had to play with it on IE.

Unfortunately there is no functionality for pointed ears, or else I'd have used that in a heartbeat. ;)

Granted, I do have Paint Shop Pro, but I also don't have a good enough eye and a fine enough control with the touchpad to be able to get a convincing pointed ear on that picture.

I'd like to change wardrobe colors on the various wardrobe options, too. The vest thingie my avatar's got on ought to be green.

(Hrmm. Now I may have to change my journal stylesheet to better match the icon...

Tough for me to see the similarity. ;-)

But, it wouldn't be too hard to get it with the hat and ponytail if you were to, oh, supply me with versions of each.

If I were to make an Avatar with the hat, hell, I might as well just take the extra time and load it up into Paint Shop Pro myself. :) I'm not entirely certain I quite like the way the "red newsboy cap" sits on the head of the girl anyway, with the face I selected. It looks a little better with other faces.

I should be editing, anyway. :)

I hit my Print Screen key to capture the image of what was on my screen. Then I pasted that into Paint Shop Pro and edited it down to a 100x100 GIF file.
