Well, technically, these are observations of yesterday. But I didn't get around to posting it until now. But nevertheless: when you're listening to an Italian guy singing opera pop on your iPod and then you shift over to listening to boisterous Newfoundlanders belting out four-part harmony at the top of their talented lungs, this is effectively being hit by musical lightning.

Also, I need to work out more. Having finally worked out again last night, I find myself feeling pretty darned good today. Note to Self: Self, work out more.

The Moore has GBS's show on their May calendar now--and it looks like the B'ys are playing with Carbon Leaf. :D More importantly, the tickets are now ON SALE via Ticketbastard! So those of you who are local to Seattle or within reasonable distance, if you wanna go, let's be making with the ticket buying!

Like I need an excuse to post about them... ^_^ BUT! So in my copious free time, if I ever get around to making animated LJ icons, they will be Great Big Sea icons. I can almost see them in my head.

Séan's would say 'Séan McCann the shanty man, he plays the drum as well', and it would be a picture of him and his bodhran.

Darrell's would say 'There's no bass like an Outer Cove bass'.

Bob's would be one of him with accordion and would say 'We've got Bobby on the squeezebox'.

But ALAN... what caption would go on Alan's?

Tell me your thoughts, GBS fans on my Friends list!

Huh. Some of the new words I'm seeing in tonight's German reading actually are vaguely familiar; one of the sessions I remember having in my last refresher course had to do with rooms of a house, and I'm seeing some of these words now in this paragraph, which is all about the rooms of Bag End.
