Folks, I would now like to take this opportuity to announce the winner of my October Drollerie Review Drawing Contest! I had a total of five participants who checked in, four of whom did reviews in various places, and one of whom rated me on Fictionwise. So without further ado, the random number generator announces that the winner is… Lexie!
Lexie, please send me email with your preferred book vendor so I know where to get you your gift certificate from, and also, give me your email address so I know where to send it! You can find my own email address on my Contact page. You have until Wednesday the 4th to claim your prize, otherwise I will pick another winner!
Meanwhile, everybody else who participated in the drawing, thank you very much! I will definitely do more drawings, timed as my personal budget allows. I may well do another one in December.

Date: 2009-11-02 12:34 pm (UTC)i completely forgot about this! i spent like 3 hours [not all at once, though] trying to get Faerie Blood off the almost-dead computer and onto Minerva, and by the time we actually got in ON HERE, i just... forgot...
*shame*
so: i have about 80 pages of Media History i have to read, and tomorrow i have a comparable number of pages on Military Policy. after those school-demanded readings are done, Faerie Blood ia #1 on my list. *AND* i have scheduled it in my phone, not just tomorrow but also Tuesday, just in case i take longer reading the policy paper or something. and i shall read it and then weep copious tears that it is ended and i must endure MORE massive heartbreak and suffering as i am subjected to the whim of Time, and mocked by that total bastard who calls himself "Patience". ha!
and then i will write such a perfect, outragious, respectful-yet-edgy, bousterious and fun and *GOOD* review, that within a month you'll have 40 publishing companies BEGGING you to sign contracts with them! bit more importantly, it will kick some people i know who also have Faerie Blood on the to-be-read list, and my review will forcem them ALL to go nd read it!
Alanis-type-irony story. my best friend isnt s big reader, and most of what she reads is YA. she was here for part of the fight to retrieve the book from the old-almost-dead computer onto shiney pretty Minervs computer. when i screamed something along the lines of "Give me Faerie Blood or there will be blood for REAL". so she asked Pete about it, and sense the info of the book was on his computer at that point, he just forwarde her the link to the book... and she read it LAST weekend. and when she was hear earlier, she asked me if *I had read it yet, and started making fun of me for not doing it yet... lol
that reminds me of a question: would it be ok to like to drollerie press, specifically Faerie Blood, on my LJ main page? [the "user ID page" i mean, the with the "bio" section and following what i am right after my LJ name and stuff.... i have been opperating under the notion that if you sell enough downloads, they wil do a print?
i am so very sorry - i had just taken my night meds when read this comment, so i can vagely see the screen or anything/ i hope i a coherent enough for you to follow what i;ve been saying; i hopt so - keep fallin= sdok
