Folks, yesterday's High Wind Watch is now upgraded to a High Wind Warning. Do what you need to to get ready for this today if at all possible.
The Times has an article up on the incoming mess here. The PI has an article here.
ETA 3:36pm: The wind warning seems to be focused on areas to the east of Seattle proper, so if you're in the Seattle metropolitan area, you'll probably miss most of the wind fun.
On the other hand? The Seattle metro area does have a Winter Storm Warning up.
They're also mentioning a potential ice storm for Tacoma and areas south, as this winter storm may turn to snow mixed with freezing rain in that area.
So basically, there'll be all sorts of suck going on with the weather this weekend, and what particular brand of suck you get is going to depend on where you are. I'd say, be prepared for just general unpleasantness.
