Going offline this afternoon and heading up to Vancouver to see the Serenity sneak peek up there, along with jessicac and mamishka! (Because that's where Jessica got the tickets, doncha know.)

We'll be heading out noonish-to-oneish, after which time I will not be online for the rest of the day. So if you have something that needs saying to me, better say it now!

Yay, screen caps! I have only begun to dabble in the fun of screen caps, now that I actually have DVD software on my computer that can do it.

But no Firefly DVDs yet. Sniffle. I need that boxed set!

Indeed, so are we! Jessica had quite the time getting them, too, and wound up having to speak to a very nice person by phone and to convince them that this was for Mimi's birthday (which it is!) and that Mimi had even written a Firefly book (which she has!). We told Jessica she should try to figure out who that person was so she can send them flowers. :)

Thanks! Turns out NONE of us will have passports with us but we'll all have birth certificates. gerimaple, who is Canadian, sez DL + BC should be fine for coming INTO Canada, and hopefully it'll be the same coming home again!

it's YOUR Customs/INS people that are being persnickity about passports and etc, not ours. You should (theoretically) have zero trouble getting in with BC+DL. Getting home again might be something else entirely :P

Yeah, I totally remember our border people being way crankier about documentation than yours, last couple of times we've come up. And well, NONE of us are going to have passports with us, but all three of us will have birth certificates. This ought to be exciting. ;)
