In honor of solarbird

My beloved and I have two anniversaries, and today is our summer one, so this post is in honor of the 14 and a half years that solarbird and I have been together as a lifemated couple.

It's been an exciting, challenging, emotional, enriching, wonderful time. It's been the best part of my life. It's led me in directions I never dreamed I would go, and made me glad I went.

It's given me Dara, the best thing I've ever been given, hands down, ever.

I love you, babe. Let's have 14 more fabulous years.

15 years will be next June, if you count from when we actually did the 'tell the friends and family we're married' thing.

If you count from September, which is when we met and pretty much immediately established a relationship--we knew right out of the gate--then this September will be 18 years!

It must be so nice to have found a person that you can share your soul and life with, true heaven, and to have had that for 14 years??!!?? Bliss! Is that number right, 14, you must have been in the sandbox together because you look no older than 25, maybe 26, at the most 27 :)

There are events in my life that I remember and then are those times when I remember. Your wedding day is one of those times that I remember. I can't believe it's been 14 years; so much has happened in that time and I hope to see both of you together to see so much more happen.
