annathepiperIt is May 17th, and accordingly, it is ALAN DOYLE DAY, the birthday of the lovely and talented lead singer of Great Big Sea! In honor of this glorious occasion, I now provide this link off to one of the pics of Alan on the new site for Russell Crowe's album My Hand, My Heart. Just because I love me a pretty Newfoundlander with a guitar.
And I call upon all Great Big Sea fans on my Friends list to take the time today to belt out a rousing chorus of your favorite sung-by-Alan GBS song. I want to hear "Lukey" and "Rant and Roar" and "Clearest Indication" and "Boston and St. John's" and "Goin' Up" and "Something Beautiful" and ESPECIALLY "Ordinary Day" resounding all over Livejournal!
