Getting up groggily after a slightly scattered sleep (I'm trying to taper off the Trazodone and was also feeling strange yesterday evening anyway) in which you were dreaming about your brother turning into a giant demon zombie and you'd had your hands splashed with the same stuff that cursed him and you'd been rescued by Han Solo while running for your life in downtown Portland, only to find that your cat has decided that your good purple-and-blue velvet bag was her stand-in litter box because you hadn't changed her litter recently enough, is NOT a good way to start off your Monday morning.

Eh, I can't really blame Polly completely for this; I hadn't changed her box in a while, and I'd also left the bag on the floor where she could get to it. Just a reminder that I should damn well pay closer attention to her litterbox. As long as it's regularly changed, she's usually fine. Only when her box is too skanky, or when she's sick or something, does she do inappropriate stuff like this.

It was a very strange dream indeed. I also remember that the gunk that got onto my hands was apparently activated by contact with grass--so I could have it on my hands and still be me, but if I touched grass, it would turn me into a zombie! So I had to wrap up my hands in bandages and wear gloves.

And where Han Solo came into things, given that the dream seemed to be set in downtown Portland, I have no idea. ;) I THINK I was supposedly there attending Orycon, the SF convention that's held there every fall, but!

A horrid way to start the week, true - but funny as Hell to read! Nearly spewed orange Mountain Dew all over my laptop.

Hope the bag turns out okay in the long run.

Hee hee! Thanks. :) Dara hung it up to dry for me yesterday morning, and it had mostly dried out by last night, but I need to check it out and see if it still smells of eau de cat. ;P :)
