Since this meme amuses me, here are mine, both 'cartoon' and 'flesh-and-blood characters', in no particular order. Yes, this list is way longer than five. This is what I get for having led a pretty solitary childhood and adolescence. :) Note also that the vast majority of these, at least in the cases of the flesh-and-blood characters, were focused on the characters rather than on the actual actors.

1) Practically any character played by Elvis in any of his movies that I watched as a kid, as well as Elvis himself, and never mind his being deceased.
2) Speed Racer.
3) Mark, leader of G-Force, on Battle of the Planets.
4) Lion-O on Thundercats.
5) Zor in the Second Robotech War, and also the main male lead character in the Third Robotech War, whose name unfortunately eludes me; it's been a while since I looked at any Robotech. I list them both on this item because same cartoon. ;)
6) Apollo, played by Richard Hatch, the original Battlestar Galactica.
7) Captain Crane, played by David Hedison, Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea.
8) Major Don West, played by Mark Goddard, Lost in Space.
9) MacGyver, played by Richard Dean Anderson.
10) Remington Steele, played by Pierce Brosnan.
11) B.J. McKay, played by Greg Evigan, on B.J. and the Bear.
12) Automan, played by damned if I remember who, on the short-lived series of the same name.
13) Bennu, played by Judson Scott, on the even more short-lived The Phoenix.
14) And okay, yeah, fine, I'll admit it, I liked Michael Knight on Knight Rider. Please be gentle with your mocking. ;)

Okay, and now let's talk current crushes. These days, I'm way more focused on actual people. One of the advantages of being a grownup, I suppose, though there are certain characters that still slay me. :)

1) Strongbow in Elfquest.
2) Elvis, who endures despite being deceased, because, well, ELVIS.
3) Russell Crowe in general, and his portrayals of Cort in The Quick and the Dead, Jack Aubrey in Master and Commander, and SID in Virtuosity in particular.
4) Harrison Ford in general, and Han Solo and Indiana Jones in particular.
5) Pierce Brosnan, though Remington Steele remains far and away my favorite character of his.
6) Great Big Sea, who are, granted, a group rather than individuals, but collective ability to slay Anna with fabulous music counts. ;) Also, Alan Doyle in particular for unbelievable charisma and his voice, Séan McCann for his voice, and Bob Hallett for ability to play practically every instrument in the world, which is automatic swoon points by itself.

In conclusion, yeah, I'm pretty much a swoonish fangirl to this day. ;)
