Nothing profound to say today
Jan. 17th, 2005 06:49 pm+0: I just got off the treadmill, and am feeling virtuous about that. Especially since even without being on the treadmill yesterday or the day before, I appear to have lost a pound--possibly due to two straight days of treadmill before that nudging my metabolism into gear, plus not eating too ridiculously over the weekend. Here's hoping that this trend continues. In addition to selling a book this year, it'd be nice to lose ten or twenty pounds. ^_^
+0.5: In a related vein, there's a thread up on the new OKP about how Great Big Sea makes for excellent workout music. I have heartily endorsed this opinion, and have mentioned to the other ladies posting on the thread that if enough of us get into the habit of working out (or back into the habit, in my case), we'll be in fine form for Vertical Movement once the B'ys come back off of hiatus. ^_^
+1: Spreading the news about this nice gift the LJ staffers are giving those of us with paid accounts: 14 days extension of our paid time. Good on 'em!
+2: It's Martin Luther King day. I have nothing particularly noteworthy to say about that, except to muse that on the one hand, I was unable to ask
solarbird to take my paycheck to the bank. On the other hand, I also didn't get a rejection letter!
-3: It's raining seven ways from Sunday tonight, as it has been pretty much all day from what I can tell. I expect this'll be what we get for weather until spring--as is fairly standard for Seattle-area winters. We'll see if I'm proven wrong.
