Working Anna!
Oct. 11th, 2004 06:17 pmTomorrow, I head back to work! I'm going back to work for the same team I was contracting with earlier this year, for those of you who have missed this; I'm very pleased by this, because I really enjoyed working for that team. And I'm delighted to know that they want me back.
This means that I shall have to learn adventures in bussing from Kenmore to Microsoft and back again, though. I've worked out the routes, and it looks like it's about the same length of time as the bus rides I used to have to take to Attachmate, so that's not too sucky. I will have to transfer busses, but that's okay. It'll perhaps give me more time to read in transit, or to listen to stuff on my iPod that I don't normally listen to.
But I will have to start getting up early again. Ugh. :)

Date: 2004-10-12 03:36 am (UTC)Nanowrimo--thinking hard about it. The problem I have with Nanowrimo is that the big other novel I've been planning right now, the as of yet untitled SF story, is not together enough for me to start it yet. I still need to settle on some crucial motivations for major characters, and the gut feeling I have is that I can't really settle that after starting writing. So I need to figure that stuff out before I start that book. But I'm not sure I'll be able to nail it down BEFORE Nanowrimo is supposed to start.
The other novel I'm considering isn't quite fleshed out yet, but that may be okay--last year when I did Faerie Blood, I took about a week and a half to hammer on the outline at the end of October and then just went GO when November started.
But if neither of these ideas works out, I'll just keep working on Lament of the Dove. My muse is pretty excited about that book right now. :)
