Anybody besides me noticing comments mysteriously disappearing off of posts? I had six comments on this post as of yesterday--one each from mizkit, cafiorello, and wrog, and my answers to them. But now the ones from Kit and Roger are missing, my answer to Kit has been blanked out, my answer to Roger is gone entirely, and the comment from Cathy is blanked out. And the weirdest part of it is, I saw the comment count change from 5 to 3 just by hitting Refresh.

I have already checked--and yes, I am. :( I've just filed a support request to alert the support folks that there are apparently still data loss issues going on with user accounts on this cluster.

I was wondering why the hell my style information was reset on my journal a day or so ago, too. This explains that, as well.

and it appears they're aware of the comment lossage and are working to fix it, and have a support ticket code for folks still with problems:

The restoration thing is for missing entries, not comments--the missing comments and the weirdness with my journal's stylesheet resetting itself are the only things I've noticed wrong so far.

Yeah, me too! Not only for me but anybody else who's on the fucked up cluster--so far not much of my own journal is screwed up, but I must wonder what other kinds of data loss have been caused by all of this.
