I got the job interview scheduled for Thursday at 9am! So I'll get to scamper post-haste into work as soon as it's over; I've warned my leads I'll be in late that day and will also stay way late as a result.

Okay! Now everybody tell me not to get too nervous about this, even if landing a PERMANENT POSITION even before my contract expires would be a ridiculously good thing!

I hope I did! I didn't fumble much during the little chat I had, but it was really hard to tell whether or not I was sounding at all interesting and like someone that guy's team ought to hire. :) I'm sure there must be competition for the position--non-contract software tester positions aren't exactly falling off of trees in this town, anymore!
