Started having a sore throat yesterday afternoon, and woke up with it being more pronounced today. So I stayed home from work and emailed in sick. Bah. Stupid throat.

Yeah, though I don't think I'm quite at the Death Star stage in my throat! I've been sucking on cough drops and putting Tiger Balm on my throat for the menthol in it. That seems to be helping.

Most of this evening, I've been practically unconscious on one dose of Nyquil.

Yes, and that would have sucked! Sick Séans can't sing! I have beheld this very phenomenon--one of the first GBS shows I went to, the poor boy was ill and couldn't sing a note. He was barely able to stand on stage and bang on his bodhran, from the looks of him.
