Does anybody remember a reference to the pet humans in Blue Mountain being able to sense when Winnowill was sending--because they could feel something in the air? I swear this is nagging at my memory, but I couldn't find a reference to it and I'm trying to figure out if I'm hallucinating. ;) The places to look for it would be in the 3rd graphic novel out of the original quest, the novelization thereof, or Siege at Blue Mountain.

Anybody able to help me out on finding this?

I looked in siege but I couldn't find any pet human moments. The mountain is pretty empty in that one.

I don't think they could sense her sending, but I'm pretty sure that they could sense when she was in a foul mood. It probably would be somewhere in the Original Quest. I'd look, but my copies are buried in a closet.

I don't think you're imagining things, but my books are at home, conveniently placed on a nice new shelf. Why don't you cross-post to the EQ community? If anybody's active, someone's bound to have access to a copy of the books.

No, it's there. When WInny's sending to her Chosen, they can tell, because it goes quiet and heavy. I'd look for it in a bit. Lunch calls.

If it helps, I recall it as well. But like many others, at work and will be able to provide you some kind of answer when I get home. Also, it is in the graphic novels themselves somewhere, as the only novelization I have is the one of the first graphic novel that was published by Playboy.

I think 'twas in the third book, Captives at Blue Mountain. I may be wrong and it's late.. but I've a gut feeling.

Will look it up later for you, if you like.

It wasn't in Captives OR Seige, but rather The Secret of Two-Edge. Page 16, the Chosen call to her, and she replies via send. Narration goes:

"Kakuk and his fellow captives knows when their mistress is sending, for the chill silence grows momentarily more oppressive."

Yeah, they beat me to looking it up, but I was goign to at least chip in with 'you aren't hallucinating'. :) I remembered the scene, too. :)
