I DID finally spend that gift card you so kindly gave me! Specifically, on this.

Newfoundland history-type book. I used the card to knock ten bucks off the price. I'll call it research for if I get around to writing a story set in Newfoundland. ;)

Well, there is a Borders downtown, as I mentioned--but what I finally did was go online, which is what I should have done a long time ago. ;) Turns out Borders runs its online site via amazon.com anyway!
