Apparently, the lovely and talented Mr. Crowe has dislocated his shoulder training for his next movie, the same shoulder he in fact injured while doing initial filming for Flora Plum a couple years back. Ow ow ow ow ow ow ow ow.

Russell dear, you can STOP THAT NOW. Your shoulder and your fans will appreciate it! (Especially those of us who have broken things near shoulders and whose shoulders are still a trifle cranky about that...)

OUCH

from someone w/ autodislocatable shoulders, when they're FORCED out it hurts like an SOB!
OUCH!

hopefully he dind't do a sufficient number on it to require surgical intervention, b/c then it will not likely ever be as strong as the other... *whimper*

wonder if they might just do a full shoulder overhaul instead of waiting for him to destroy another portion?
cuz when they reapir PART of it, the rest of it destabilizes and the seams are the fault lines of the area...
bio-sibling-unit doing this w/ her knees of late... grrrrrr
but yes, OW OW OW is about all you can say as body parts CRINGE in sympathy!

my guess is it will depend on 2 things:
1 - his recovery & rehab schedules
2 - the production schedule flexibility to accomodate #1

depending, is it REALLY worth potentially making his arm almost useless for a film??
methinks NOT!

I know what you're saying, but I didn't think he needed training to fight. ;-)

Just as long as he doesn't play the violin between rounds, it should be all right.
