My boss just came around through the lab and handed us all little gift packets! They turned out to contain a recipe for something calling itself "snowman soup", which apparently involves the following:

1. A packet of hot chocolate
2. A few Hershey's kisses
3. A small bag of marshmellows
4. A candy cane

Wicked boss, tempting me with these delicious items which are all insisting on being individually eaten RIGHT NOW. :) But I shall persevere, and hold off eating these objects until I can combine them in the manner intended!

Hrmm. Doublechecking said recipe, all it says really is to add hot water and stir. Doesn't seem terribly complicated, even for me and my major state of being cooking-impaired. ;)

*takes a whack at guessing the recipe*

Add x cups of boiling water to packet of Hershey's (TM) hot chocolate powder.
(Optional) Add milk to taste.
Melt marshmallows and Hershey's (TM) Kisses in hot beverage.
Stir well with candy cane.

Serves one.

That's about how it worked, yeah, though I melted the candy cane in the mix as well. ;) It was tasty! Watched it just before settling in to watch the extended version of Fellowship of the Ring to get into the mood for today's viewing of Return of the King!
