(I am informed by Thomas who is visiting and in fact watching me type this that, quote, "You're a loon," unquote.)
I beg to differ. Subject lines like this one are the direct result of it being 1:25am and being distracted by staring at a computer screen with violin-wielding Mr. Crowe on it. ;)
That said, I did at least write a little over 500 words tonight, though it took me some doing thanks to general slogginess of brain and being distracted for a while by
solarbird re-watching The Lion in Winter. And I mean DAMN, every single person in that cast was 100 percent EVIL! (Well, except maybe Alice. She was maybe only 53 percent evil.)
Listening to occasional gusts of wind picking up outside, too. Nothing too terribly exciting in the wind department in the U-district at this hour, though a random neighbor who had locked herself out of her house did come to our door just now asking if she could use our phone. That was different.
And now, bed, and on the morrow there shall hopefully be the finishing of Chapter 15 in between pondering how else to spend my Saturday. Zzzzzzzz.

That's a year-round writing thing, with a much higher word count level. Might be right up your alley.

Date: 2003-12-06 11:52 am (UTC)I'm not sure if this would work for me or not. Part of the point of NaNoWriMo was, for me, to see if I could produce the word count under the very tight deadline of 30 days. And really, also, to kick myself in the ass to get me seriously pursuing writing. :) I'm not sure if a year-round thing would work quite the same way.
Thanks for the link, though! I appreciate it! :)
