Because I had to pay bills. Stupid bills! Anyway, Chapter 7 is now underway, and another 489 words brings me up to 21,607. In related news, I am informed by a player on Two Moons that this tale is, quote, "really good", unquote. Aww gawrsh. :)

Though the bills are numerous enough that solarbird and I won't be going to Kentucky in December as previously planned. Bah. This is what I get for breaking my stupid arm. Stupid medical bills!

Yeah, medical bills suck.

As much as I dislike the idea of our government (implementation details) doing socialized health care, I see a bigger and bigger case for it all the time.

Now if we could just figure out how to implement it without it sucking.
