Not as many words tonight, but still quite a few

1190, to be precise, bringing my total up to 9589. I was really hoping to crack 10K tonight, but my brain is fried... and besides, my hand has been hurting today, and so has my elbow (still not done with the nerve regeneration), so those are two real strong arguments in favor of quitting a little early tonight and going to fall into bed.

I'm still about 1300 words ahead of the bare daily minimum needed to hit the finish line, so I've still got a good chunk of buffer left.

Thanks go to mamishka (as well as our not-on-LJ online friend Rod, a.k.a. Stickmaker) for helping me with a few plausibility checks on Chapter 3 events.

Bed now.

How many words do you like to type per day? What are your goals?
I am currently writing a script for class and I am finding it easier with a treatment. If anyone ever is going to write a script: Write action points to help with treatment, then write treatment to help with script.
We are to turn in 5 pages. I passed the 7 page mark. My treatment is 'suppose' to be 3 pages, but ended up being 10 pages to get my whole idea.

I felt also progressive.. I cut a scene from my treatment when converting it to a script. hehe.

Maybe I could let that motivation you have there Anna, rub off on me. :) I could use it. and actually finish this script and see if anyone would even think of putting it to film. It is based off a true story that's sort of creepy. (military action that almost led to war, but didn't. My father has the inside scoop. hehe)

I am sorry to take on the soap box, but hey,I had fun.

Again.. congrats on your acheivement. Most people just think about writing the 'great american novel' but most hardly put a word on a page, or on many pages. I think that is most wonderful that you have so many words!!

Well, since this is Nanowrimo I'm playing with, the goal is to get 50,000 words written by the end of the month. The math works out to be 1,667 words a day; so far, given that math, I am ahead of the goal since I wrote extra this past weekend. :) Even if I only wrote 1,100 or so words yesterday.

Above and beyond that I'd like to write something that doesn't suck and which eventually I might be able to try to get published, but for now I'll settle for writing 50,000 words!

And good for you for working with script writing... that's a skill I have never explored. If it helps, you sound like you have a pretty good chunk of motivation already!
