0. Not only can I play my bouzouki again, I can now wear NORMAL SHIRTS AND SPORTS BRAS! Happy is the girl who can wear her TOFOG tank top and Elvis T-shirt. ^_^

1. Friday afternoon's massage with Liz didn't restore me to sleeping the night yet but it went a REAL long way to that. Lots of lost sleep caught up on this weekend.

2. I've dropped a couple pounds! At 162.5 the last couple mornings running.

3. Went to IHOP on Saturday with [livejournal.com profile] mamishka, [livejournal.com profile] risu, and [livejournal.com profile] solarbird, and had nummy food! Mmmmmm food.

4. Also on Saturday, [livejournal.com profile] spazzkat came over and visited, and so did [livejournal.com profile] sksouth!

5. Yet again on Saturday we resumed the Saturday night tradition of pizza and Dr. Who. KBTC has looped back around to the first Doctor, and it's really odd to go back that far if you are more accustomed to the later Doctors.

6. On Sunday Dara and I went to have pho! Mmmmm pho.

7. Also on Sunday, I played "Trois Navires de Ble" sorta kinda along with the GBS recording. I couldn't quite keep up, and the three quarter note strums underneath the last little bit of chorus were a little hard. Possibly because they all required me to strum down three times in succession without coming back up. And I could REALLY feel the motion in the muscles under my brace, but not in an "ow I'm hurting my bone" kind of way, more like a "I haven't worked these muscles in six weeks" kind of way. A bit similar to how I felt in many muscles the first time I did a weights workout. Which leads me to wonder if I should NOT play today so as to give the muscles a rest, like unto how you are not supposed to do weights two days in a row.

8. I tried to play my guitar too, but determined that yeah, Rags is too big for me to handle yet. I can't get my arm up around her. But I did TUNE my poor gwee-tar, as Rags was horribly flat after six weeks of sitting idle.

Right on! I would suggest giving your arm a break today--that's a good thought when something feels like weight training.

Yeah. With luck, the PT exercizes will help with the fine motor control. But still, even being able to strum seems a good sign.

I've got to go do some of my PT right now...your reply reminded me. :)
