Well, come to think of it an electric mandolin WOULD be nice, and I still want a non-classical acoustic guitar, but I'll be good for a while. ;)

Today, much playing of the zouk and attempting specifically to take on the songs I know Alan Doyle plays on the zouk in GBS performances: "Jack Hinks" and "Paddy Murphy". The latter, it turns out, is really easy chord-wise and I've got the initial fingering down for the bridge, too. :)
