Late birthday presents!

I got a late birthday present today, courtesy of Amazon.com: my very own copy of The Quick and the Dead, which up until today had the distinction of being the only Russell Crowe movie in the house not actually owned by me. Which is doubly amusing, given that I am of the opinion that his role in that particular flick is in fact his sexiest to date (mmmmm Cort). ;)

I also got a nice present from my long-standing Norwegian pen pal, Yngvar, who sent me a hardbound collection of a particular Norwegian comic. He also went through it and taped in little English translations of the Norwegian bits of text. Heh!

Yay! Finally got there..I think it should've gotten there Saturday as I went for 2-day shipping, but whatever.

The funny thing is I ordered it about a day before that evening a few nights ago when you were talking about it. I paged Cyn and Solarbird to tell them it was already on the way and to tell Cyn not to get it that evening. ;-)

I thought it extremely eerie that of all the things on your Amazon wish list, I chose that one and it happened to be the DVD you perhaps wanted the most. :-)

Glad it was the right choice.
