It's official, I'm amused

So apparently there's an entire subgenre of Buffy fandom devoted to looking forward to the Redemption of Spike. They call themselves the Bloody Awful Poet Society, and apparently they have a noticeable infiltration onto the McAnallys list onto which mizkit and agrimony have hauled me. They call themselves BAPSters. The poster who mentioned them (and who was aggressively in favor of keeping Evil Spike ;) ) calls them "redemptionistas". Hehehehehe.

What is McAnally's? the first time I heard the name was in Jim Butcher's books, as the pub where Harry frequently seeks refuge from his problems. And now I've heard it a few times in reference to on-line stuff. And we know Mr. Butcher is, in fact, an online RPer and such.

McAnally's is the name of the mailing list that Kit and Tara dragged me onto -- named, indeed, after the pub in the books. :)
