Accomplished today:

  • Viewing of Die Another Day with [livejournal.com profile] solarbird at the Neptune.
  • Sending in of status reports to my recruiter and asking them about the terms of my contract extension, since nobody's gotten around to actually telling me things like, oh, say, what my new end date on my contract is and whether I'll be getting any fregging OVERTIME.
  • Installation of a patch for Trillian, the IM client I'm using, since it was extremely annoying to be having the thing crash every time I tried to talk to people on Yahoo. Fortunately, the patch seems to have fixed the problem. However, I am now considering forking over the small fee for the pro version of Trillian, since it does some stuff I'd like to be able to do with it.
  • More email catchup. In fact, I got my email queue down under 40 messages! Go me!
  • Addition of a copyright notice page to the site for Two Moons, after exchanging email with Richard Pini on TM's official sanction to exist.
  • Uninstall and reinstall of QuickTime, to try to make it stop playing MP3's in the QuickTime plugin in IE, because that was ANNOYING!
  • Gave Karsten an account on the Murk for a web page for the Cat Elves on Two Moons.
  • Ran a backup of lodestone.
  • Paid bills.
  • Wrote receipt for [livejournal.com profile] ssha for her latest installment on her back rent.

Though well okay, maybe going to see Bond wasn't necessarily all that productive, but well hey, things exploded, sex happened, and heavy-handedly witty banter was exchanged. All the things one expects out of a Bond flick!

So how was Mr. Bond? In fine fettle? Was it a good flick? Or at least a fun flick? :)

My boyfriend uses Trillian. Talks about it a lot. He says that Yahoo keeps changing their format and that is why it doesn't work so well for Yahoo.
