Well, THAT was fun!
Oct. 22nd, 2002 10:21 pmJoss is not holding his punches at all this season, and he is such a devious bastard and I LOVE him!
Whoo BOY HOWDY that was intense. From Anya unleashing the Gruesome to Willow unleashing a glimpse of the Black-Eyed She-Witch to Buffy unleashing some Get a Fucking Clue onto Xander, non-stop WOW.
Hysterically funny: the sequences of the days of Aud and Olaf and D'Hoffrin coming to offer Anya her job as a vengeance demon. And the BUNNIES!
Anya's smartass line about "Are there any friends of your left you haven't tried to kill?" (We counted. We're pretty sure that in fact Buffy has tried to kill just about all of her friends at one time or another. It's amazing how she manages to maintain her relationships. ;) )
The SONG! Bwahahahaha! Nice number, too! Especially with the snippets of song coming in from outside the house.
And in the Realm of Well We Didn't See THAT Coming Now Did We?, the toasting of Halfrek! EEK! I mean, well, EEK!
And oh yes, I did in fact go "awwwww sniffle" at the Spike scene at the beginning, yes I did. Poor hallucinating Spike! I was unsure whether the second appearance of Buffy in the scene was real, but Mimi pointed out she was wearing the same clothing then that she did in the rest of the episode so she asserted that was actually real Buffy.
Wow. WOW that was good.

Date: 2002-10-22 10:43 pm (UTC)I'm not 100% sure she tried to kill Oz, but she certainly has subdued him at times.
I don't think minor characters count, like Scott the almost-boyfriend from Season 3. But really, she doesn't live a life full of casual friends.
Did she try to kill Joyce? Faith in Buffy's Body certainly did, but that's hardly the same thing.
It certainly helps to have been off the show last season!
Re:
Date: 2002-10-23 10:08 pm (UTC)*snicker* I can't think of any occurrences of attempted Slayage on Cordy, off the top of my head, no. Nor can I think of any attempted Slayage on Wesley, but then again, Wesley was a pretty minor member of the cast during his tenure on Buffy, so. :)
Mimi sez she's never tried to kill Oz, no. Nor could we think of any times she's tried to kill Joyce. But then again, that's her _mom_ and not one of her friends, so Joyce is sort of off the hook in that respect.
