Our jamming group, or at least a significant subset thereof, will be playing in front of ACTUAL PEOPLE next month. Because one of our members, Monica, wants us to play at her wedding.

*GULP*

All karma in favor of us staying in tune and on tempo will be gratefully accepted. And oh yes, best wishes for the happy couple too. ;)

Awesome! You'll do just fine! Just think of the audience as a group of people who're interested in hearing you do well. :) And flirt with them, that's always fun. :D Finding a friendly, out-going 80-year old man is always fun, because if you've found a good one, he'll flirt and know that it's just flirting. :D

This won't be the first wedding I've played at, but the first one was my sister's wedding and I was just by myself. This will be with a group. That may almost be easier in some ways but also harder.

Half of me is nervous and the other half wants to go "IT'S ABOUT BLOODY TIME WE'RE PLAYING IN FRONT OF PEOPLE!" :)
