Anyway. The folks at GreatBigSea.com are overhauling the website, and as part of this effort they're putting up a new message board/chat system. A lot of the regulars are disgruntled by this change, but me, I think it's pretty nifty. I just hope we'll still get periodic drop-ins by the lovely and talented Misters Doyle and Hallett.

Dar also sent me and Meems an email that says that David Duchovny is coming back for the final few episodes of the X-Files to close it out this season, which will be its last. I feel weird that this has been the first season of the X-Files that I've had absolutely no interest whatsoever in watching... though perhaps I'll check in again for the last few episodes. Sigh. I miss the days when that show was still good.

And to trump either of these... Dar and I are talking about having a BABY. Erk!

Yeah. Dar and me with a spud. Wouldn't that be a kick in the head. I can see it now. Tiny big-eyed spud charging around the house in multi-colored hand-knit baby booties, holding out wee hands while piping "KITTY!"

Though I can see some issues with a belly with a baby in it getting in the way of instrument practice. ^_^ "Well, I'd LIKE to play my mandolin, but I appear to have this growth in the way..." Though maybe I could stick the LITTLE mandolin on top...

*grin* Good thing you have the kind of mandolin that have flat backs instead of round ones!

I'm no good for booties, but my blanket making skills are honed to perfection from working on Tim's blanket all these years.

This is currently in the "let's figure out if this is something we want and if it's feasible, but we really do kinda need to decide this soon" stages.

And yeah, it's a good thing my mands aren't round-backs. ;)

Egads! I have no talent whatsoever to donate here.... no booties, no blankets. But I can offer a wide variety of children's books. I don't have a porn section though, so you guys will have to figure out those mechanics all by yourselves :-)
