Initial impressions of Oblivion Remastered

I bought Oblivion Remastered yesterday as soon as I saw the news that it was being released. And last night, I fired up a playthrough to redo Ganniwer, the character I’d started via my attempt to get an Oblivion playthrough going.

Thanks for your reply. It's good to know they altered it. A hybrid of Skyrim's and Oblivion's systems sounds intriguing. I’m interested in giving it a go and seeing how it works.

The scaling problem in the original was tough. When I played it years ago, I managed to beat the game, but I kept a paper notebook throughout the game. On it I kept not of the skills I leveled, so I knew I would be able to survive the leveling of the monsters with my character’s leveling. I’m not going to be doing that effort again with a replay :)
