Pitch practice update

Y'all know how I have said before that I tend to fall behind on my LJ comments? Well, I'm getting caught up again today, and I have some additional comments in from pinkdormouse, who jumped in on the thread here. I'm a bad Russell fan

I must hang my head, for lo, I have not yet paid to see Cinderella Man, and apparently a whole lot of other people haven't yet either. Enough that AMC is offering to refund people's money if they don't like the film, in an attempt to generate interest. It hasn't even made back the money it cost to make it yet! It's been one of the big casualties of a summer that's been sucky for movies all around.

Stupid tight-budget-no-movie-ticket-buying summer. I'd have totally gone to see CM before now if solarbird and I weren't in budget crunch mode. (I AM going to see CM this weekend with mamishka, but that'll be on a free pass, so I still won't be giving Russell my nickels for his movie!)
