-1: One of the servers in the set of machines on which I test has come down with a worm and has been booted off the internal Net. Grf. Which means I'll probably have to take the time to flatten the box today. Stupid worms.

+2: As of this morning, I am within half a pound of this month's weight loss goal. If this keeps up I should pass it by the end of the month.

+3: Fox Mulder would be all over this one. Gakked from solarbird, here is a story about a Ukrainian man who hasn't slept for 20 years. My only question: has anyone checked the back of his neck for large inexplicable scars and tested him for developing psychic powers?

-4: Oh feh. That Great Big Sea webcast about which I have heard tell is only available to Sympatico/Bell subscribers. Sniffle. No Newfoundlanders for me!

Conquering my inner introvert

I find myself in the strange position of having been invited to two different social events tomorrow night, a situation which makes my brain tilt dangerously, for lo, I am a raging introvert. However, a small part of me timidly suggests that it might do me good to get out and say hello to actual people, even if most of the folks at both of these parties are going to be strangers to me. And so I turn to you, my Friends list, for advice on how to resolve my dilemma!
