Er... what?

Anybody besides me noticing comments mysteriously disappearing off of posts? I had six comments on this post as of yesterday--one each from mizkit, cafiorello, and wrog, and my answers to them. But now the ones from Kit and Roger are missing, my answer to Kit has been blanked out, my answer to Roger is gone entirely, and the comment from Cathy is blanked out. And the weirdest part of it is, I saw the comment count change from 5 to 3 just by hitting Refresh.

ROCK 'N' ROLL BOUZOUKI SOLO!

divagypsy takes a pretty picture of Alan and Séan, she does! But I want to see the picture that goes with this little nugget she shares with her fellow GBS fen:

'During Pat Murphy, Alan jumped up onto the speaker for his bouzouki solo. The next verse, Sean completely flubbed. After it was over, Sean informed us "I forgot all the words, because I was enthralled with the fabulous rock 'n roll bouzouki solo!" This was Alan's cue to tell us all about how he went to the Van Halen show last week, and decided that the bouzouki needed that much flair.'

And yet, at the same time...

I heard this morning about talk going on in the government about how to suspend the election in case of terrorist attack this year. Way to make me ever so much more confident about November. solarbird is a lot better about addressing these issues than I am... but still, despite me trying to bolster my spirits by playing a lot of GBS music this afternoon, I can't help but wonder if Bush is going to get into office again this fall, if he is going to somehow manage to succeed at ramming the FMA down the throats of the states, and if Dara and I are going to have to bloody well move to Canada. I really hope it doesn't come to that. I don't want to move to another country. But I will if it comes to that; I don't want to live under a government actively working to discriminate against me.
