And OH YEAH! PIRATES!

Saturday night, thanks to mamishka (a.k.a Cap'n Maggie Wiles), a huge crowd of us got together to go see Pirates of the Caribbean and much fun was had by all. Meems loaned me a colorful vest and a black skirt, and if you're gonna go see a pirate flick in garb while you have a broken arm, then by all means the way to do it is to have yer cap'n paint a skull an' crossbones on yer sling and give ye a hook fer yer hand. ;)

I was going around telling folks, "I be One-Handed Anna! And do ye be knowin' why I be called One-Handed Anna?" *beat* "Because I have one hand!" ( Avast! )

Well, BLOODY HELL

For some reason I was completely convinced that Worldcon was 9/3 to 9/8 this year, which made me therefore convinced that in order to see Eddie Izzard on tour solarbird and I would have to go to the show in Vancouver, BC. So I bought tickets for the 8/29 show in Vancouver at the Vogue.

But Worldcon is 8/28 to 9/1.

So now I have two tickets to Eddie Izzard that I CAN'T USE. :(

Anybody wanna buy these off me? They are good seats, in the orchestra section of the theater. Let me know.
