Just because, yet another book roundup

I’m home sick with a cold so let’s see if I can get caught up on stuff. Here are some ebooks I’ve bought lately!

• Goblin Tales, by Jim C. Hines. Fantasy. Short story collection featuring the goblin hero Jig Dragonslayer, self-pubbed by the author. Recommended for any fans of the Jig novels!
• The Silent Army, by James Knapp. SF. Book 2 of his Revivors series; picked up because I just burned through Book 1 and enjoyed it quite a bit.
• Alcestis, by Katharine Beutner. Fiction. Bought electronically since I also have a hardback copy and this is to read on the Nook.
• Millie’s Fling, by Jill Mansell. Chick lit/romance. Picked up because it was a freebie on B&N this past weekend.

Total for the year thus far: 46.

I've finished both of Angie Fox's books I recently picked up. I really enjoyed The Accidental Demon Slayer; it was rather light and fluffy as far as romance books go, I would definitely recommend it. I went ahead and read A Tale of Two Demon Slayers before reading the second book in this series. While missing out on that second book did hinder me somewhat, I was able to forge ahead. A Tale of Tow Demon Slayers wasn't as good as the first one, but was still decent.

I'm now working on Things I Overheard While Talking to Myself by Alan Alda. While I mainly associate him as the actor who played Hawkeye Pierce in the t.v. series M*A*S*H, I am enjoying this reaad.

Well, I'm willing to yoink a sample of Fox' work down onto my nook. :) And I've now done so! I'll let you know if it floats my boat enough to make me buy the book; I do note her four books are available for a quite reasonable price for the nook, so that may sway me in her favor. We'll see!

I don't read much non-fiction but Alda sounds like an interesting person to read about, yeah.
