Ladies and gentlemen, Bone Walker just broke 30K on the word count! Chapter 10 is done, and features the worldview of a young Warder and an old Warder getting rattled all to hell. However, this ain’t going to stop Christopher or Millie or least of all Kendis from doing what needs to get done.
Before I go any further, though, I think I’m going to have to take a few tomorrow and update the story’s outline. I need to flesh out some idea of what the heck happens next.

Date: 2010-05-23 01:24 pm (UTC)I have recently encountered an amusing way to track wordcount -- ZIP CODES. Where in the US is your book? There's no zip code 30001, but you're right near Avondale Estates, GA, which is 30002.
TO THE WEST!

Date: 2010-05-23 05:29 pm (UTC)As a sequel to Faerie Blood, Bone Walker is set pretty much right here in Seattle. More specifically, it boings around between the Seattle Center, Kendis' house in Sand Point, the immediate vicinity of Jude's apartment in Laurelhurst, and a point on the Burke-Gilman trail right between Seattle and Lake Forest Park!
However, bits of it may be about to dart to the Eastside. Muahaha.
