… I beg your patience! I’ve already asked userinfoserasempre when it’s due on Amazon, but I don’t have an answer on that yet. In the meantime, I know of at least two people who have already purchased the book off of mobipocket.com and converted it to Kindle format. So that’s doable if you have the time and the know-how!

Could anyone who’s done a mobi->Kindle conversion drop a comment on this post and let others know how it’s done? Many thanks!

OMG, I've been pretty much absent from LJ for months.

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is an AWESOME achievement.

Do you ever come with your lovely spouse to the SoulFood open mic? If you did, I could bring my copy and have you autograph it for my "local authors I've met/known" collection!

Looking forward to reading it...

You have to get and use a pair of python scripts, one to extract the mobi ID of the Kindle (which you then register on the mobipocket-selling site as a device), and one to convert the mobi file to kindle format. Amazon did a cease and desist against the main big sites linking the python scripts, but last time I checked it was findable via google.

I bought the pdf, then used Mobipocket Creator to convert it to Kindle format.
