Attn: fantasy/urban fantasy authors reading this

As I posted last night, my book just went into the editing stage. Which means I get to start thinking now about another fun aspect of putting a book together: blurbing.

Although Faerie Blood's initial release will be electronic, this won't rule out putting a blurb on the cover art. A couple of Drollerie's ebooks have them.

So this is going out to all the authors who read my journal: would any of you be interested in blurbing me? If so, can you drop me a comment letting me know how I may contact you to discuss it further and what I would need to do to make appropriate arrangements?

Heh, it does need to be a name that potential readers will recognize, unfortunately! But I totally appreciate the thought. :)

Someone in the same genre and also with a well-known enough name that people recognize them is called for, yeah. I am investigating possible courses of action. But thanks for thinking of me nonetheless. :)

But hey. I haven't read this (I'm *so* looking forward to it, though), but I have have read your other stuff, and if you kick as much booty in FB as you did in the original second half of QoS? You're gonna owe me a night of sleep. :)

(I can just imagine, me or various other people coming to you and holding their Blackberry/Kindle/Palm/otherfrob out Oliver-twist-like and saying planatively, "More?" :)

(Which of course is the ultimate compliment. :)

Heh, thanks. Faerie Blood is a lighter book than Queen of Souls is, but I'm quite happy with it all the same. And, heh, the ultimate compliment for me will be if people start actually trying to write fanfic. ;)
