Useful things done today

Here are a bunch of things I have managed to do today:

• Updated checkbook with paycheck monies
  
• Ordered new checks
  
• Ordered new contacts for myself and solarbird
  
• Paid overdue oil bill (DOH) and prepared it for mailing
  
• Discovered PSE actually lets me do one-shot payments online YAY so paid the three that were due as of the 27th
  
• Verified that my followup appointment with Dr. McMillan is 11:45am on Sunday (at which she looks me over and makes sure I'm okay, and at which I shall have to remember to get an appropriate note to take back to HR saying 'yes Anna may return to work')
  
• Took large pile of rent to bank
  
• Mailed overdue oil bill
  
• Went to Scarecrow and picked up Werewolves on Wheels and The Stuff--they had Death Bed: The Bed That Eats in their inventory, but it was out! Augh! I'll have to come back and get it on the ninth
  
• Finished up paying enormous pile of bills
  
• Informed nurse calling me for a followup from Evergreen that yeah, I'm fine
  
• Informed recruiter asking me if I wanted an a- job at Microsoft that no, I'm good
  
• Began two months' worth of balancing checkbook

Not bad for a girl recovering from surgery.

Tragically you are more productive recovering from surgery than I am not recovering from surgery. Oh the shame.
