Tomorrow's the day, folks; I go in for surgery at oh-god-no-o'clock in the morning, as per previous procedures. I have to be there at 5:45am for surgery at 7. I should be on the table for one to one and a half hours, with about that in phase 1 of recovery where I wake up from the anesthesia, and maybe another hour or two when they sit me up in a chair for phase 2 of recovery to make sure I'm okay. If all goes according to plan I should be home and zoning out by late afternoon to early evening.

I stopped at the video store down at the shops and found two of the five primary Movie Suckoff contenders: Frogs, ever so kindly suggested by [livejournal.com profile] wrog, and Against the Dark, a Steven Segal vampire hunting crapfest for which [livejournal.com profile] gamera_spinning posted a trailer. It had Suckoff Contender written all over it. :D

[livejournal.com profile] eveshka, I looked for Death Bed: The Bed That Eats, but Hollywood Video didn't have it. OHNOEZ! I did find a different movie called Deathbed, and didn't realize it wasn't actually the same movie until I got out of the store with it. However, this one also promises to be craptacular.

Also sought but unfound were Werewolves on Wheels (with a nod to [livejournal.com profile] mojave_wolf) and The Stuff.

I'll watch the contenders I've got, and depending on how fast my energy comes back, I may have to make an expedition to Scarecrow Video since Hollywood Video has failed me! But do not fear, the Suckoff is ON. Watch this space for the first reports!

And wish me luck. I'm gonna need it. Oh, yeah, and for the surgery, too!

Oh man. The Stuff. The only movie in which weird random stuff bubbles out of the ground and people go 'hm, I think I'll eat that'.

Good luck!

Best wishes and good luck, both with the surgery and Steven Seagal.

as ever, skill, fortune, success and comfort in equal measure (or in as unequal measure as you yourself deem adequate).

That is indeed supposed to be a dreadful movie. If you ever have the urge to pick up a GOOD biker/horror film, Psychomania (one of two movies by that time) is quite entertaining.
