Acquired
mdhenry's Road Trip of the Living Dead tonight as well as Catherynne Valente's Palimpsest, to lay down the groundwork for
s00j's imminent new album, Quartered.
Had to go to Barnes and Noble for these books, though, since Borders downtown does not have them. At least, they didn't have the Henry; I didn't check a second time there for the Valente. But this is in keeping with me having heard rumblings that Borders just isn't carrying as many newer releases on the shelves. Which is a drag. But oh well, I like Barnes and Noble better anyway, and that's where I have the discount card!
Total books purchased for 2009: Nine!
ETA: Also, it must be noted that after reading Succubus Dreams and Set This House in Order back to back, I totally need to read something cheerful now, and I think zombies are just what the doctor ordered. Mark, you're up!
